Technologies in this version
The service version dated 20 October 2026 uses first-party storage to maintain sessions and preserve games and notes. It does not activate advertising, third-party analytics or cross-site tracking. Spaces reserved for future advertisements do not load advertising networks.
Session cookie
sudokuilove_session is a first-party cookie that identifies your account session and protects service actions. It is a session cookie using Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax. Browser retention depends on how the browser closes or restores sessions; the server invalidates a session after 24 hours of inactivity. You can sign out from your account. Blocking this cookie prevents account-dependent functions from working correctly.
Storage on your device
Local storage keeps the grid, your entries, pencil marks, practice time and selected difficulty. Game keys start with sil-. This save stays in your browser until replaced or cleared with site data; it has no automatic expiry. It lets you resume the game you requested and is not used to follow you across other websites. Your password is not stored there.
Managing storage
You can remove sudokuilove.com cookies and site data using your browser’s privacy settings. This may sign you out and remove local games that have not been synchronised. The game may still work with limitations if storage is disabled. Storage strictly needed for sessions, security and the requested game does not depend on accepting advertising cookies.
Before advertising or measurement is introduced
If additional technologies are introduced, we will update this policy with their providers, purposes and retention periods. Where consent is required, you will be able to accept or reject optional purposes and change your choice; those technologies will not load before a valid choice. Advertising-network approval is an external process and is not implied by the presence of reserved advertisement spaces.
